Vote by Mail

You may request a vote-by-mail ballot 7 days before any Election.

Return by mail—must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received by our office no later than 3 Days after Election Day.

Return in person—to our office, any 24-hour drop-box, or any polling place in Alameda County before 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.

Polls are open on Election Day: 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
